The ShareASale app on Zapier provides merchants the ability to easily set up automation between ShareASale and thousands of other platforms. This allows you to work with our API without the need to involve your dev team. For example, if you want to set up your Shopify store to automatically void refunded orders on ShareASale, this is easily doable on Zapier. You can automatically send your affiliates' contact information to your MailChimp account, or have an email sent to you at the end of every month outlining your program’s performance! To get started, you can click the invite link here and sign up for a free Zapier account.
In your Zapier account, go to My Apps on the left side of the screen. In the dropdown menu, choose ShareASale. A window will open asking for your ShareASale credentials. You’ll need three things: an API Token, an API Secret Key, and your Merchant ID.
This information can be found in the MERCHANT API page of your ShareASale account under TOOLS > MERCHANT API. On this page, change your IP Address Restriction setting from Require IP address match for all API Calls to Require IP address match only for version 1.1 and lower. Click Update Settings to save your changes. The token, secret, merchant ID and IP Address Restriction settings are highlighted in red below.
After pasting this information into Zapier, click Yes, Continue. You’re now ready to set up Zaps! Each individual action and trigger is detailed in the articles below. Note that Zapier’s free accounts allow up to 100 actions per month, so you can set up the basics and see how it works for you, but if you expect to use this a lot, you may be required to upgrade your plan.
